The only way I can get this to work is if you do exactly what she does when she flips the cover over the end. You have to put your hand/arm into the cover just like she does. I always forget that every time I watch this video. Usually I will struggle with it a few times before I remember to do that. I wish they had some tips or more explicit instructions, so it wouldn’t be such a struggle.

I turn the duvet cover inside out, lay the comforter on top, tie it in and then turn it inside right. Then I hold it vertically to straighten it out, lay it on the bed and open it up and look inside to make sure the comforter is straight!

Am I the only one who thinks this is more complicated than the regular method of turning the duvet cover inside out and grabbing the duvet covers, then flipping?

Roll the insert, then slide it all the way inside the cover along one side. Grab both corners of the insert and duvet together on that side and shake to unroll the insert... voilà. 😊

This video still holds up! No more sleeping with the cover laying on top for a week anymore!

I have struggled for the last 6 years putting duvet covers on much to the dismay of my girlfriend. Not only does the video simplify it, it is the single most mind boggling thing I have every encountered. I still do not know how it works. It's magic and I love it.

I used to follow the california roll method, which people claimed was easy. As a single person, I had to cross over to the other side of the bed multiple times to get it done. This method you've shown is ridiculously easy!! Thank you so much!!

Yeah…no. Nope. Nuh uh. This totally does NOT work. And my thing is, I don’t want anything (including ME) touching my clean linens!!! After you get finished molesting them all over this bed and floor and Lord only knows what else (are they touching your shoes when you hold them up like this????), you may as well wash them again.
